Description:

The Titanium Information Group as part of its technical program will be holding a technical seminar on the 1st April at The National Metals Technology Centre, Swinden House in Rotherham entitled "Titanium in Biomedical Applications". The event will be aimed at an audience of attendees from both industry and academia, people should attend if they supply into the biomedical sector, are looking for a strong sector to diversify into or are interested in the progress being achieved in biomedical science.

The event will feature presentations from JRI, Huddersfield University, Sheffield University, Electro Optical Systems and The Design Modelling and Simulation Centre. Presentations will focus on subjects including market overview and opportunities for the supply chain, joint replacement and design, the use of rapid manufacture in biomedical applications, the use of novel techniques for reconstructive surgery and the use of titanium in dentistry.
