Review of materials requirement for UK Energy Sector
As part of the development of MatUK's Energy Materials 'Strategic Research Agenda', the Energy Materials Working Group has commissioned a review which, following a competitive tender, is being carried out on our behalf by the National Metals Technology Centre (NAMTEC).
The purpose of the review is to quantify the size, markets, strengths & opportunities of the UK Energy materials supply chain in order to support the EMWG recommendations to Government bodies and funding agencies.
This will include identification of the UK energy materials supply chain for fossil, nuclear and renewable power generation. Covering aspects of raw materials supply, materials processing, production & manufacture and end user requirements.
